Prasanth Thattathumala, an Indian film maker. He won several awards including the award in the name of  music director Raveendran Master and of Social Eye. was born in Thattathumala, Trivandrum district, Kerala to Usha V.E and Mohanan K. Prasanth Thattathumala. He is married to Asha. The couple have a daughter, Aadhya Prasanth.  

Initially, he worked at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Aquaculture (MPDEA) for 5 years.  He worked as a programme co-ordinator at Asianet for 5 years. Then he  worked  as an Assistant Director  with  KK Haridas  for 3 years. He successfully completed several  television series, albums, short films and cinemas.
